Xiaomi will be releasing the Mi Max 3 next month, as CEO Lei Jun hinted last month. As the launch date draws closer, the smartphone has been certified by TENAA, which also revealed the spec-sheet of the smartphone. But the TENAA listing did not reveal the images of the handset earlier, however, that has changed now as the listing has been updated with a couple of the images of the Mi Max 3. As expected, the Mi Max 3 will rock an 18:9 display on the front and the display size will be bigger than what we have seen on earlier Max devices. As per the listing, the Max 3 will have a 6.99-inch Full HD+ display on the front. From the rear, the device looks like a bigger version of the Xiaomi Mi 6X as the antenna lines are visible on the bottom and top. Also, the gold-coloured Mi Max 3 has been listed on the portal, but the smartphone is also expected to be launched in Black colour as well.

To the back, we have dual rear cameras and the alignment is pretty much similar to what we have seen in various Xiaomi smartphones released this year- the Redmi Note 5 Pro, Mi 6X, Mi 8 and so on. The fingerprint scanner remains on the rear side, same as the Mi Max 2. The right side of the phone houses the power button and volume rockers, while the SIM card tray is on the left side.

There isn’t a major change to the design of the phone when compared to that of the Mi Max 2, but the major change happens to be on the frontal. The Mi Max 3 is said to be powered by a 1.8GHz processor with the RAM & internal storage going up to 6GB and 128GB, as per the same TENAA listing.

The dual rear camera setup will also remain the same as the Redmi Note 5 Pro- a 12MP primary shooter and a 5MP secondary depth sensor. The phone will be backed by a 5400mAh battery. As you might be aware of, battery life is one of the USPs of the Mi Max series, and the Max 3 will retain it. The device will be first launched in China, post which it will be launched in India too.
