It will be available for the Web version of the application. This feature will be available for users both owning an Android or an iOS smartphone. The feature is aimed at making conversing easier and more seamless for users. The feature will allow users to react to other people’s messages using emojis. Yes, emojis can still be used, but they can’t be directly reacted to. However, with the new feature coming in soon, users will be able to do that.




WhatsApp Web New Feature Will Allow Users to Directly Use Emojis for Reacting to Messages

According to a WABetaInfo report, WhatsApp Web will soon get the support of ‘Message Reaction’. The feature will be rolled out for both the WhatsApp Web and WhatsApp Desktop. The ‘Message Reaction’ feature is similar to what users get in Facebook Messenger and Instagram.

In terms of the number of emojis available for users, there will be more than 999 emojis that users will be able to choose from. One of the best things that this new feature will enable for the users is the ability to react to a single message with multiple emojis.

This feature won’t just be available for the group chats, but users will also be able to use it for individual chats. This new feature, whenever it comes, will bring a lot of functionality for the users and also make their chatting experience more convenient. It will certainly make WhatsApp users stick to the application longer and will add a ‘fun’ element to chatting. WhatsApp is also expected to bring a major redesign for its application which will include changing colours and the complete user interface.

There’s no confirmation on when this feature will be available for the users, but it should come soon!
