Vodafone India has now started offering the 3GB of data per day with the Rs 349 prepaid plan, which earlier provided 2.5GB data per day benefit. This revision comes right after the change made by Bharti Airtel and Idea Cellular. Vodafone's Rs 349 prepaid plan, starting today, offers 3GB of 4G/3G data per day, unlimited voice calls with a daily & weekly cap and 100 SMS per day benefit for the validity of 28 days. Overall, Vodafone is now offering 84GB of 4G/3G data benefit with the Rs 349 prepaid plan. Having said that, Vodafone has managed to again match with Bharti Airtel and Idea Cellular. It was Bharti Airtel who revamped the Rs 349 plan with 3GB data per day benefit, which was followed by Idea Cellular as it introduced an all-new Rs 349 plan which's different from the company's Rs 357 prepaid plan.

BSNL, on the other hand, also has a Rs 349 pan-India plan which we reported yesterday offering 1GB of data benefit for 54 days. All the operators also provide unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS per day benefit too.

Earlier, the Rs 349 plan from Airtel, Vodafone offered 2GB data per day, followed by 2.5GB data per day benefit. And now, finally, the telcos are offering 3GB data per day benefit. While Airtel's Rs 349 plan is valid across the country in 22 telecom circles, Idea Cellular's plan is valid in 21 circles. Vodafone's Rs 349 plan is valid only in circles where the telco is providing 4G services, not in circles such as Andhra Pradesh & Telangana, Madhya Pradesh & Chhattisgarh etc.

Alongside this plan, all the three telcos unveiled a new 2GB data per day plan offering 56GB of 4G data with a validity of 28 days. Airtel and Idea Cellular introduced a Rs 249 plan which offers 2GB of 4G/3G/2G data per day, unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS per day for 28 days. Vodafone also came up with a Rs 255 plan that also provides a user 2GB data per day, unlimited voice and 100 SMS per day for 28 days. Again, the Rs 255 plan is also valid only in 4G circles.
