Vodafone, India’ second largest telecom network started offering more data on all their 3G and 4G internet packs. Till date, Vodafone along with Airtel was criticized for their aggressively data plans that cost users hefty of money and offer a mere data.
However, after the entrance of Reliance Jio, things have changed. Prepaid users of Vodafone India can now get nearly 25 percent additional data with every internet pack recharge. Starting with the Rs. 265 pack, it previously offered 1GB of 3G data valid for 28 days. However, the same package now gives 1.5GB of 3G data for the same validity period.
Do make a note that these plans will be effective in some areas itself. Not all the plans feature on the list of increased data offering; some plans feature in the validity period extension. For example, consider the Rs. 449 plan, it offers the same data of 3GB data which was previously valid for 25 days from the date of recharge, but from now on it will be valid for 28 days.
Vodafone’s highest data pack of Rs. 859 previously offered us 7GB of 3G data, but now the data has changed to 7.5GB with the same validity period of 28 days. Apart from this, there are no changes to Vodafone’s other plans, but the company is vying to makeover their other data packs as well.
