Vodafone Idea

Vodafone Idea (Vi) is the third-largest telecom operator in India. The telco is often criticised for not offering the best network coverage, but its plans are no doubt the best in the industry. In multiple aspects, the plans from Vodafone Idea are much better than its competitors, including Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel. Almost every high-end plan of Vodafone Idea comes with better benefits than its rivals. There is one plan that all of the telcos offer under Rs 400, and it is the Rs 399 plan. Out of all the operators, Vodafone Idea's (Vi) Rs 399 plan is the best. There are multiple reasons for this; let’s go through them.

Vodafone Idea Rs 399 Plan Details Compared With Airtel, Jio Plans

Vodafone Idea Rs 399 plan offers customers a ton of benefits. Starting with the basic benefits, users get 1.5GB of daily data, 100 SMS/day, and unlimited voice calling. This plan carries a validity of 56 days. Further, there are additional offers of ‘Weekend Data Rollover’ and ‘Binge All Night’ provided to the company.

Users also get multiple over-the-top (OTT) benefits of ZEE5 Premium for one year and Vi Movies & TV. Let’s see what the other operators are offering for the same price.

Bharti Airtel also offers 1.5GB daily data with its Rs 399 plan. The plan further promises users unlimited voice calling and 100 SMS/day. The Rs 399 plan from Bharti Airtel also comes for 56 days. There are additional Airtel Thanks benefits offered to the users. These benefits include a free one month trial of Amazon Prime Video Mobile Edition, Wynk Music, Apollo 24/7 Circle, Free Hellotunes, one year of Shaw Academy, and Rs 100 cashback on FASTag transactions.

Reliance Jio also offers the same benefits as that of Bharti Airtel and Vodafone Idea (Vi) with its Rs 399 plan. The only difference between these plans is in the additional benefits offered. Reliance Jio gives users 1.5GB of daily data with unlimited voice calling and 100 SMS/day. But the additional benefits don’t include any major OTT subscription. Jio offers a free subscription of five apps to the users with this plan which includes JioCloud, JioCinema, JioTV, JioNews, and JioSecurity.

It is worth noting that only Vodafone Idea (Vi) is offering a major OTT benefit of ZEE5 Premium to the users. None of the other telcos offers any such benefit. Further, Vodafone Idea users can consume much more data with its two offers, including the ‘Weekend Data Rollover’ and ‘Binge All Night’ offers.
