VODAFONE BRINGS “SOUTH STD PACK” ;STD CALLS @50PIndia’s GSM Mobile telephony space is heating up by the day, with an increased competition, directly helping mobile service users to get the cheapest tariffs. Now Vodafone Essar customers in Andhra Pradesh circle can enjoy all STD calls to the entire South region at just 50paisa!

India’s leading GSM mobile operator Vodafone Essar today announced the launch of a new “South STD Pack” for its prepaid mobile subscribers in Andhra Pradesh.

The South STD Pack comes at a price point of Rs.38 which enables Vodafone prepaid subscribers to make STD calls from Andhra Pradesh to all mobile and landline networks in the states of Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Kerala at only 50 paisa per minute any time of the day.

Vodafone “South STD Pack” has 30 days validity from the date of recharge, and its applicable to all existing and new prepaid subscribers of Vodafone.

Vodafone claims “This is a first-of-its-kind offer from Vodafone which offers Vodafone customers the lowest STD rates in the country”.

is there any tariff plans for std in airtel. cuz im looking for the cheapest std call rate. right now im using the scheme where 1st 2 std mins is 1.5/- and 75 paise for the rest of the day. is there any cheaper std rate that other companies are offering?
basically i heard that reliance has the offer of free reliance to reliance std. does this exist?
plz advice!


vodafone offers local & std @ 75 paise with 48 recharge
airtel offers local Re 1 and STD 75 paise with 46 recharge.So vodafone is cheaper here.Now vodafone offers eastern states STD @ 50 paise which airtel doesnot
So in westbengal AIRTEL is expensive than leader VODAFONE
