Vivo Permanently Slashes Prices of Vivo V11 Pro, V11 and Vivo Y81i by Up to Rs 2,000

It seems that with the start of this year Vivo is trying to win the hearts of its customers and is on the task of attracting more and more buyers for its devices. This month only, Vivo cut the price of its Vivo Nex smartphone, which was launched back in 2018. Now, the smartphone maker has come out announcing that it is permanently slashing the costs of three of its smartphones, the Vivo V11, Vivo V11 Pro and Vivo Y81i. While this is the first time that the Vivo V11 Pro is receiving a price cut, this would be the second price cut for the Vivo V11. Both of these phones were launched last year, and they come with the waterdrop styled notch and dual rear camera setup.




Price Cut for Vivo V11, V11 Pro and Vivo Y81i

Vivo has confirmed that the Vivo V11 Pro has received a price cut of Rs 2,000 thus bringing down its price from Rs 25,990 to Rs 23,990. On the other hand, the Vivo V11 has received a price cut of Rs 1,000, and now its effective price has come down from Rs 20,990 to Rs 19,990. A Mumbai retailer, Mahesh Telecom reported the price cuts first. It is worth noting that back in October last year, the Vivo V11 had received a Rs 2,000 price cut which slashed its price from Rs 22,990 to Rs 20,990. Another Vivo phone which has received a price cut in India is the Y81i which previously used to retail at Rs 8,490, and now it comes for Rs 7,990.

Vivo V11: Specifications and Features

The Vivo V11 features a 6.3-inch Full HD+ display which renders a resolution of 1080x2280 pixels, and the panel is a Super AMOLED display which comes with a 19:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, the phone is powered by the MediaTek Helio P60 SoC, and it pairs with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of inbuilt storage. The phone also comes with the option of expandable storage via SD card up to 256GB.

When it comes to camera and imaging, the Vivo V11 sports a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 16MP primary sensor and a 5MP secondary sensor and this also pairs with a LED flash. On the front, the phone has a 25MP selfie unit with AI-based features. Keeping the lights on is a 3,315mAh battery which also supports 18W quick-charging support. On the software front, the phone boots FunTouch OS 4.5 on top of Android 8.1 Oreo powered by the Jovi AI engine.

Vivo V11 Pro: Specifications and Features

The Vivo V11 Pro sports a 6.41-inch Full HD+ display (1080x2340 pixels) on a Halo FullView 3.0 Super AMOLED screen which comes with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The device also boasts of an impressive screen-to-body ratio of 91.27%. Under the hood, the phone rocks an Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660, coupled with an AI engine, an Adreno 512 GPU, and 6GB of RAM.

The dual rear camera setup on this device consists of a 12MP primary sensor (f/1.8 aperture) paired with a 5MP secondary sensor (f/2.4 aperture). On the front, the phone has a 25MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture and AI-powered features and AR stickers. The phone offers 64GB storage and expansion via microSD card (up to 256GB). Connectivity options on the device include 4G VoLTE, dual-band (2.4GHz and 5GHz) Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB with OTG, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Vivo Y81i Specifications

The Vivo Y81i sports a 6.22-inch display rendering a resolution of 720x1520 pixels. The phone also sports a 19:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, the device packs the octa-core MediaTek MT6762 and pairs it with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. The phone also offers expandable storage up to 256GB via microSD card. When it comes to camera and imaging, the Vivo Y81i features a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. On the software front, the device runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with FunTouch OS 4.0.
