Vietnam's largest service provider Viettel will Deploy Nokia's optical transport solution that will support the growing demand for 5G, data center interconnect (DCI), and cross-border connectivity in Vietnam. This deployment follows a successful trial with speeds reaching a 1.2 Tbps per wavelength. The deployment, to be completed in 2025, will be used to connect Viettel's data centers in key metropolitan areas such as Ha Noi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Da Nang, the companies said on Thursday.
