We're now into the final quarter of 2017, where several smartphone brands announce their flagship products in India. Well, if you can't get this- here's the quick recap. Every year, smartphone brands announce their newest flagship products at IFA event in September and launch them in India in October. This has been the scenario for the last two years.

And this year, it's going to be the same. LG's V30, which was the best smartphone seen at the IFA 2017, Xiaomi's bezel-less Mi Mix 2, Honor's 18:9 aspect ratio smartphone and Google's Pixel 2 series are expected to make their way into the Indian market. Along with the mentioned ones, there are several other devices to be launched in India in October 2017.

In this article, let's find out which smartphone will launch (or probably going to) in India.

1) Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL

First, up for the month will be the Google Pixel 2 series launch on October 4. The smartphones will be announced somewhere in the US, but Google will announce the Indian pricing as well at the same event, like every year. The Pixel 2 is rumoured to be made by HTC, whereas the Pixel 2 XL by LG.

Renders of both the devices have surfaced online. The Pixel 2 will sport the similar Pixel design, whereas the Pixel 2 XL will have 18:9 bezel-less display. Both the smartphones will feature tweaked camera setup, which still is a single camera system. The phones are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC, coupled with 4GB of RAM.

The Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL will feature Edge sensor, same as the HTC U11, which allows you to interact with the smartphones by squeezing it. The phones are expected to be priced on the steeper side, both in the US and in India.

2) Honor's #ExploreWithHonor Smartphone

Huawei' sub-brand Honor is heavily teasing a smartphone launch in the Indian market. While Honor's Global Twitter account says that the company is going to launch Honor 9 in India on October 5, a new tweet from Honor India Twitter handle shows a different smartphone altogether.

As of now, it' still unknown which smartphone Honor is going to launch in India on October 5. The #ExploreWithHonor smartphone is confirmed to have an 18:9 aspect ratio display, dual rear cameras, and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. For more details about the device, we've to wait till the official launch of the product, which is on October 5.

3) LG V30

LG's flagship smartphone, the LG V30 made its way to the international market last month. The company will be eagerly waiting to launch the device in India this month because its true rival, the Galaxy Note 8 is doing well in the market already.

The LG V30 offers flagship specifications such as a 6-inch OLED Full Vision display, Snapdragon 835 SoC, industry's first f/1.6 aperture camera, and a gorgeous display. The smartphone is expected to land in India in the second or third week of October with a much smaller price tag compared to that of Galaxy Note 8.

4) Xiaomi Mi Mix 2

Last month, Xiaomi launched its bezel-less Mi Mix 2 smartphone with a 5.99-inch FHD+ display. And the brand even confirmed the arrival of the smartphone in the Indian market at a later date. If Xiaomi sticks to its decision and launches a new smartphone every alternate month, then the Mi Mix 2 will launch in November because the company launched the Mi A1 last month.

The Mi Mix 2 is a gorgeous looking smartphone with a 5.99-inch near bezel-less display. Also, the device is powered by the Snapdragon 835 SoC, 6GB/8GB of RAM, a single 12MP rear camera, and a decent 3500mAh battery. The smartphone is expected to be priced below Rs. 30,000, and aimed at killing all the high-end bezel-less smartphones such as Samsung Galaxy Note 8, Galaxy S8, LG G6, etc.

5) Motorola Moto X4

Motorola has set October 3 as the launch date for the Moto X4, but the company, later on, revealed that the launch of Moto X4 is postponed due to some unknown reasons. The Moto X4 is a gorgeous looking mid-range smartphone with decent hardware on paper.
