Bharti Airtel Brings Apple iPhone XS and XS Max to its Online Store

Right after the announcement of new iPhones, Bharti Airtel, as usual, has announced that it will offer Apple's latest products- the iPhone XS and the XS Max via Airtel Online Store. Airtel will start offering the Apple iPhone XS and XS Max on its Online Store starting September 28. The telco will open the pre-orders for both the devices on September 21, 2018, but customers will be able to purchase the devices right away from September 28. Not only the iPhone XS and XS Max, but Airtel will also be bringing iPhone XR to its Online Store and the pre-orders for the same will start on October 19, 2018. Apple has already confirmed that it will start selling the iPhone XR at the end of October, just like it did with the iPhone X last year.

"Customers will be able to pre-order the iPhone XS and the iPhone XS Max beginning September 21, 2018, and iPhone XR beginning October 19,2 018 on Airtel Online Store at www.airtel.in/onlinestore," said Airtel in a press statement.

Bharti Airtel Already Offering iPhone X Via Airtel Online Store

Last year, Airtel brought the expensive iPhone X to its Online Store at a price of Rs 89,000. Later on, the telco introduced monthly EMI schemes to make the device affordable. At the moment, interested customers can head over to Airtel Online Store and purchase the iPhone X by making a down payment of Rs 35,270. For the next 24 months, users will be required to pay a monthly EMI of Rs 2,799 which also includes the myPlan Infinity postpaid plan.

Same as last year, Airtel might launch EMI schemes for the upcoming iPhone XS and the XS Max, but for now, the phones will be available for purchase at the original prices as Apple announced. Notably, Airtel is also providing iPhone 8 and 8 Plus via its Online Store under EMI scheme.

Apple iPhone XS and XS Max Specifications

The Apple iPhone XS Max is the Cupertino-based company's premium iPhone till date. Priced at Rs 1,09,900 for the base 64GB variant, the XS Max will be available in a 512GB storage option as well, which goes up to Rs 1,44,900. The iPhone XS and XS Max, both sport OLED displays of 5.8-inch and 6.5-inches respectively. It's powered by the Apple A12 Bionic chipset, which is claimed to offer 30% better performance than the A11 Bionic we saw on the iPhone X last year.

Both the phones ship with two 12MP sensors on the rear side and a 7MP shooter is present on the front side. They are now IP68 water and dust certified, lacks 3.5mm headphone jack and comes with better Face ID technology.

Apple iPhone XS and XS Max Pricing and Availability

The Apple iPhone XS' base variant with 64GB of internal storage has been priced at Rs 99,900, while the 256GB variant goes for Rs 1,14,900. The 512GB version of the iPhone XS will be available at a price of Rs 1,34,900. As mentioned above, the base variant of the iPhone XS Max ships at Rs 1,09,000, followed by the 256GB and 512GB variant priced at Rs 1,24,900 and Rs 1,44,900 respectively. The phones can be pre-ordered from September 21 on Airtel Online Store.
