Vodafone used to offer these plans earlier as well, but the company has now made plans open to all subscribers in Tamil Nadu.

All the five Vodafone Super Plans offer data, SMS, and unlimited voice calling benefits. All five Super Plans are available to Vodafone customers using 2G or 3G/4G enabled handsets. The five plans are Rs 79, Rs 199, Rs 347, Rs 458, and Rs 509.

Starting with the Rs 509 tariff plan, it gives 1GB of data per day, 100 free SMS per day, and unlimited local, STD & national roaming calls for 84 days. Alternately, customers can opt for the Rs 458 Super Plan which offers same benefits for 70 days, and the Rs 347 tariff plan also provides similar benefits for 28 days. However, the Rs 347 tariff plan gives 1.5GB data per day, instead of 1GB data with the Rs 509 and Rs 458 tariff plans.

Lastly, we have the Rs 199 and Rs 79 entry-level plans for users who love phone conversations. Vodafone says that the Rs 199 plan is perfect for voice calling users. The Rs 199 plan gives unlimited local calls including free national roaming voice calls along with 1GB data for 28 days. Under the Rs 199 tariff plan, customers will be charged 25 paise per SMS.

With the Rs 79 tariff plan, you can make voice calls in the home circle, along with 500MB data. This plan is valid for just seven days from the date of recharge.

Vodafone also confirmed that customers could avail these plans at all Vodafone Stores, Vodafone Mini Stores, and multi-brand retail outlets across Tamil Nadu. Customers can also avail this recharge through My Vodafone App

Apart from the Rs 199 tariff plan, the remaining plans were already available for the customers. With the Rs 199 plan, Vodafone is offering unlimited roaming calls, which is a key highlight. Until now, only BSNL is offering national roaming calls at such a low price, excluding Jio. These plans are already applicable in other circles as well but do make a note that the price differs with each circle.
