Tata Sky increases prices for most of the base packages

Tata Sky has been one of the most prominent DTH providers in India and they have an excellent track record when it comes to the quality of the service. I personally use a Tata Sky connection and was taken aback when I got a message saying that the prices for all the packs have been hiked.

We need to understand that Tata Sky folks have added few extra channels in each package and this might have lead to the change in price. Although the increase in the subscription price is not drastic it still makes Tata Sky one of the expensive DTH service.

Subscription prices for Dhamaal Mix have been increased from Rs. 230 to Rs 240, Dhamaal Cricket from Rs 260 to Rs 275, Supreme Sports Kids from Rs.320 to Rs 340, Grand Sports Pack from Rs 450 to Rs 470 and Metro Pack from Rs 360 to Rs 380. The prices for South Packs and Mega Packs has not been increased. Prices for the individual add-on packs like the Hindi Movies has been increased from Rs 45 to Rs 50,
