Tata Sky Launches High-Speed Broadband Services in 14 Cities

The impending launch of the Reliance Jio GigaFiber FTTH service is already starting to heat up the broadband sector. Most established broadband service providers like Bharti Airtel, BSNL and ACT Fibernet are readying up the turf before the Mukesh Ambani led telco forays into the field. There is also a new member in the ranks, which is Tata Sky Broadband services. The company which first started its services by providing DTH connection to the people is now taking advantage of its extensive network to rollout broadband services as well. Right now, Tata Sky Broadband has commenced operations in 14 cities which include Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Chennai, Delhi, Ghaziabad, Greater Noida, Gurgaon, Hyderabad, Mira Bhayandar, Mumbai, Noida, Pimpri Chinchwad and Thane. However, interested readers can also put in their address on the Tata Sky website to check for the service’s availability in their locality. Below we have listed all the available Tata Sky Broadband plans classified across various time frames.

Tata Sky Broadband 1 Month Package

Under the one month plan, Tata Sky Broadband offers five speeds. These include the 5 Mbps plan which is priced at Rs 999, 10 Mbps plan which comes in at the cost of Rs 1,150, 30 Mbps plan which is priced at Rs 1,500, 50 Mbps plan of Rs 1,800 and lastly the 100 Mbps plan of Rs 2,500. Additionally, there are is the plan of 60GB plan priced at Rs 999 and a 125GB plan priced at Rs 1,250. When people subscribe to these plans, they receive a Wi-Fi Router, and further will be required to pay Rs 1,200 as installation charge.

Tata Sky Broadband 3 Months Package

Under the three-monthly offerings, there are similar five plans with different speeds of 5, 10, 30, 50, 100 Mbps available for subscription at a price of Rs 2,997, Rs 3,450, Rs 4,500, Rs 5,400 and Rs 7,500 respectively. Apart from that, the 60GB plan will cost the subscribers Rs 2,997 and the 125GB plan will be available for Rs 3,750.

Tata Sky Broadband 5 Months Package

On similar lines, the 5 Mbps plan will be available for Rs 4,995, 10 Mbps plan for Rs 5,750, 30 Mbps plan will be up for subscribing at Rs 7,500, 50 Mbps plan for Rs 9,000 and 100 Mbps plan will cost Rs 12,500. The 60 GB plan for 5 months will cost Rs 4,995 whereas, the 125GB plan will be available for Rs 6,250.

Tata Sky Broadband 9 Months Package

Under the offerings with 9-month subscription period, the same five speeds of 5, 10, 30, 50 and 100 Mbps will be priced at Rs 8,991, Rs 10,350, Rs 13,500, Rs 16,200 and Rs 22,500 respectively. The 60GB per month plan under this category will be available for Rs 8,991, and the 125GB plan will cost Rs 11,250.

Tata Sky Broadband 12 Months Package

Lastly, the annual subscription for the same five plans with the speeds being 5, 10, 30, 50 and 100 Mbps will be available for subscription at the price of Rs 11,988, Rs 13,800, Rs 18000, Rs 21,600 and Rs 30,000 respectively.
