Tata DoCoMo has launched a new multi-value FRC combo pack with free internet for its users in the Kolkata circle. The new FRC combo pack comes with more than full talk-time and free internet for three months. Customers can make local calls at just 25p/min, while the rest of the calls would be charged at 30p/min.

This pack, which is priced at Rs. 225, also offers benefits of more than full talk-time. Recharging with the pack gives a talk-time of Rs. 250. Moreover, Tata DoCoMo has sweetened the deal by offering 500MB of free internet for three consecutive months.

With this pack, the company is targeting young customers who use voice and data. In the current scenario, Tata DoCoMo is losing its subscribers to Aircel and other players as it is the only player without its own 3G spectrum, so they can’t offer the speeds that telcos with own spectrum can offer.

While the telco hasn't shared any plan to bring 4G services, it remain unclear as to how they plan to counter other players. The pack offers good value for money, but a lack of a good network and slow 2G speed would not help them much in attracting new users.
