Xiaomi Shipped a Record 27.6 Million Smartphones Globally in Q3 2017, Recorded a 102.6% Growth YoY

Xiaomi India, earlier last month said that it shipped 9.2 million smartphones in Q3 2017. At the launch event of the Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 Plus smartphones yesterday in China, Xiaomi revealed that it shipped 27.6 million smartphones globally. Xiaomi quoted IDC as the source of this number.
