Vodafone to expand 3G services in Lachen, North Sikkim

Vodafone India has announced expansion of its 3G services in Lachen, North Sikkim. Vodafone had earlier announced its network expansion to Lachung, Sikkim and with this expansion Vodafone would now cover approximately 665 Census Town, 4135 Mkt. Towns & 35354 villages in the Rest of Bengal circle. Vodafone starts offering its 2G and 3G services in Lachung Sikkim, first private telecom operator to do so

Vodafone India will now offer 2G and 3G services in Lachung, Sikkim. With this expansion, Vodafone would now cover approximately 369 towns & villages. Vodafone has so far deployed almost 181 cell sites across the state and 7150 approx across the Rest of Bengal Circle and continues to expand its network.
