Five Indian States Nearly Account for 25% of Total Telephone Connections

The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) on Thursday said in its Monthly Telecom Scenario report for August, 2020, that five Indian states accounted for 24.98% of total telephone connections in India. Country registers an increase in telephone connections, 94.31 million are provided by BSNL

According to the recent Tele-density and market share data, the country has registered an increase in telephone connections, both wired and wireless, and reached up to 1.01 billion.
