Telecom Minister, Secretary reiterate spectrum auction was a success

Telecom Minister Manoj Sinha has termed the recently concluded spectrum auction a “success”, saying that the spectrum sold is about 965 megahertz, which is more than the amount of spectrum sold cumulatively in the auctions in 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015. “This spectrum auction was the biggest auction ever. Telecom Secretary: Auctions to end spectrum scarcity in India

Mega-spectrum auction to begin from September 1: Report

According to a report by PTI (ET), the Union Cabinet has approved the mega-spectrum auction plan. The applications will be invited by July 1. The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) will release spectrum sharing and trading guidelines only after the spectrum auctions.
