Fresh auction with reduced price for 700 MHz cannot be ruled out: ICRA

Credit ratings agency ICRA expects a fresh auction with reduced price for 700 MHz, following the industry feedback in form of non-participation in the 700 MHz band and the quantum of spectrum remaining unsold. Day 4: Vodafone commits maximum bids, pips Jio, Airtel

Vodafone India has committed bids worth Rs 17,500 crore, the highest in the auction till now, pipping Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Jio , which committed bids worth 16,500 crore at the end of fourth day of bidding, Business Standard reported.
