Eutelsat OneWeb Granted Approval for Satellite Broadband Services in India

OneWeb India has today received the necessary authorisations from IN-SPACe (Indian space regulator) to launch Eutelsat OneWeb's commercial satellite broadband services in India, becoming the first to receive the approval. This authorisation means Eutelsat OneWeb can launch commercial connectivity services as soon as spectrum allocation has been granted by the Indian Government, said Eutelsat OneWeb. OneWeb Signs Paratus as Distribution Partner in 37 African Countries

On Monday, OneWeb announced the signing of a distribution partnership with the Paratus Group in Africa. Paratus is a PAN-African telecommunications company that will distribute the services of OneWeb in all 37 countries in Africa. OneWeb's LEO (low-earth-orbit) connectivity solutions will be available across Africa through Paratus in 2023.
