DoT Issues Final List Of Bidders For 1800 MHz GSM Spectrum Auction

India’s Department of Telecommunications (DoT) today issues final list of bidders for 1800 MHz GSM Spectrum Auction. There are only five players Airtel, Vodafone, Videocon, Idea Cellular and Telewings (Telenor -Uninor) left in the race for GSM spectrum. TRAI Sets 2G Spectrum Reserve Price Higher Than 3G

India's telecom regulator, Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) finally today proposed a base price for auction of 2G spectrum that is 7th time higher than the 3G auction price of 2010.
