TRAI Strict On Pesky Calls & SMS, 22769 Individual Customers Disconnected

Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) today said that total 22769 subscribers have been disconnected for making pesky calls or messages through individual numbers. TRAI is monitoring and enforcing the regulations for protection of customers from Unsolicited Commercial calls and SMSs. TRAI Imposes 5 Paisa Termination Charge On Commercial SMS

In a bid to curb pesky calls, SMS from telemarketers, Indian Telecom regulator Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) today imposes a termination charge of 5 paisa per SMS on operators from whose networks commercial messages originate.
