Indian Government Increases Custom Duty on Mobile Phones to 20% From 15%

During the Annual Budget Speech held today, Arun Jaitley, Finance Minister said that the government had increased the custom duty on mobile phones from 15% to 20%. He said that this move is to make the brands manufacture devices in India and also to push the 'Make in India' initiative.
