RCom subsidiary GCX picks Ciena to upgrade transatlantic route

Global Cloud Xchange (GCX), the subsidiary of Anil Ambani-led Reliance Communications (RCom), has selected Ciena upgrade its transatlantic route with the deployment of the latter’s Packet Networking solutions that enable high-capacity Ethernet services. RCom already uses Ciena for its transatlantic subsea routes connecting London to New York and India.
