Tata Docomo Uses Buongiorno Technology For Diet-SMS

Buongiorno, a provider of mobile entertainment information, messaging and marketing services, is the technology partner for Tata DoCoMo’s diet-SMS offering, according to a statement issued by the company. Diet-SMS, wherein the subscriber will be charged based on the number of characters in the SMS, unlike the existing practise of charging per text message, was aimed at reducing texting costs.
