BSNL Plans to Set Up 1 Lakh Wi-Fi Hotspots Across India by March 2019

State run telecom operator Bharat Sanchar Nigam LTD (BSNL) confirmed that it will be set up a whopping 1 lakh Wi-Fi hotspots across the country by March 2019. BSNL to Deploy 25000 Wi-Fi Hotspots in Rural Parts of India, to Be Funded by USOF

State-run telecom operator BSNL will set up 25000 Wi-Fi hotspots across the telco's rural exchanges in the rural parts of the country. The telco has inked a memorandum of understanding with (Universal Services Obligation Fund) USOF.
