BSNL Seeks 700 MHz Spectrum for 4G and 5G Services: Report

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has again sought the government's support to get 700 Mhz spectrum, which the state-run telecom operator wants to use for 4G and 5G services in India. State-run telecom operator BSNL is planning to buy 5 MHz spectrum in premium 700 MHz band in six service areas---- Gujarat, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kolkata and Tamil Nadu, as it looks to strengthen coverage in the country.
