Commenting on the launch of upgraded ELITE Star, Mr. Shripal Gandhi, Founder & CEO of Swipe said, “India is the fastest-growing smartphone market in the world. We have re-designed the popular ELITE Star smartphone based on the feedback from our aspiring customers on their expectation of a 4” smartphone with enhanced internal memory. While we ensure that our products are rich in features – matching with the latest in global technology trends, we also ensure that they are affordable and easy to use for everyone – even for the people in the remotest corner of the country. Powered by Indus OS, ELITE Star supports 12 Indian regional languages, thus emerging as one of the most preferred smartphones across the country, bridging the language barrier among people, and helping us contribute towards the cashless economy.”
On the occasion, Mr Rakesh Deshmukh, CEO & Co-Founder of Indus OS said, “Swipe ELITE Star packs a bunch of superior hardware features and is powered by Indus OS’ sophisticated Operating System platform. We have tested its success through user surveys, which reveal that consumers are appreciating an Operating System that is essentially Indian and helps Indians express themselves in their own language. Swipe ELITE Star was launched with the innovative new Indus Dialer with OS integrated balance analytics. Thousands of pre-paid users will now be able to conveniently check, analyse, and recharge their prepaid balance right on the phone dialer, which cuts down several layers.”
