Sun Direct has brought a new South DPO Pack 4 priced at Rs 419 per month and it bundles both paid and FTA channels to the subscribers. At the name itself suggests, the South DPO Pack 4 is for Sun Direct customers located in South Indian states- Andhra Pradesh & Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Kerala. The new pack from Sun Direct bundles channels from various regional languages- Bengali, Gujarathi, Hindi, Marathi, Punjabi, Bhojpuri, Nepali, Assamese, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. Sun Direct customers choosing the South DPO Pack 4 will get access to 265 channels (including FTA) and an additional 18% GST charges will be levied on top of the actual price of Rs 419.49. While the pack offers channels in different regional languages, it's available for subscription only to Sun Direct customers in South Indian states.

Sun Direct South DPO Pack 4 Details

As noted, the South DPO Pack 4 from Sun Direct is priced at Rs 419.49 per month and an additional 18% GST charges will be applicable on top. Sun Direct is providing channel packs from broadcasters like Sun TV Networks, Zee Entertainment Enterprises, Eenadu Television, Sony Pictures Networks India, among others, which is the reason why the price of the plan has been set at Rs 419.

It's good to see Sun Direct even bundling channels like Zee Telugu as most of the packs from DTH operators does not come bundled with them. Even Sun Direct DPO Pack 1 for Telugu users does not ship with Zee Telugu channel which is underwhelming. Individually, Zee Telugu costs Rs 19 per month and it's one of the premium channel available for subscription right now.

Sun Direct Also Has Various DPO Packs

Besides the South DPO Pack 4, Sun Direct has wide-range of DPO packs available for subscribers in different languages like Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Bengali and so on. The company is even providing DPO packs for HD users. Another thing worth noting is Sun Direct customers can choose these DPO packs for even one year which is a good thing.

For example, the Sun Direct Tamil DPO Pack 2 costs Rs 194.91 per month, and as mentioned, the same pack is available for subscription in three, six and 12 months period. For three months, the Sun Direct Tamil DPO Pack 1 costs Rs 541.52, for six months Rs 1,041.52 and for a year or 12 months, the price of the same is Rs 2,033.05. It's good to see Sun Direct offering a variety of subscription choices to the consumers. Some DTH users prefer paying on a monthly basis and they will keep on changing channels every now and then, while some users prefer long-duration packs to avoid the hassle of paying every month. Sadly, the newly launched Sun Direct South DPO Pack 4 is not available for a long-term subscription.
