The launch of the Samsung Galaxy S9 and the Galaxy S9+ flagship smartphones is just a few days away, but leaks about both the phones keep on pouring in. And today's leak is about the pricing of both the phones. As per the reliable leaker, Roland Quandt, the Galaxy S9 duo will be 20% costlier than the Galaxy S8 duo, as it was rumoured earlier. The 64GB version of the Galaxy S9 will cost 8,790 NOK (Norwegian Krone) (approx. USD 1130), while the S9+ will retail for 9,790 NOK (approx. USD 1260). Last year's Samsung Galaxy S8 was priced at 7,590 NOK and Galaxy S8+ at 8,490 NOK. The Galaxy S9 itself is expected to be priced more than the price of last year's Galaxy S8+.

In the past too, several rumours have stated that the S9 duo will be the costliest Galaxy smartphones every in almost all the countries. We don't have the Indian pricing of both the phones as of now but expect them to start over Rs 60,000 price point. In the United States, the Galaxy S9 was slated to start at $899 and the S9+ at $999.

At the same time, the Galaxy S9 and S9+ are also touted as the best Galaxy S smartphones ever from the house of Samsung. Also, they are expected to be iterative upgrades to the S8 and S8+. The Galaxy S9 is said to pack the same 5.8-inch QHD+ display, while the S9+ will come with a 6.2-inch QHD+ display. However, the chin of both the phones will be a lot smaller, resulting in a better screen-to-body ratio.

They will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset and up to 6GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The Galaxy S9 will have a single rear camera, whereas the S9+ will come with dual rear camera setup. Also, Samsung will be using variable aperture technology in the S9 and S9+ and is already teasing the cameras of the smartphones. They will be capable of recording slow motion videos of 720p quality at 960fps.

They will have the same 3000mAh and 3500mAh batteries inside and will boot Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box, not Android 8.1 Oreo. Samsung has set the launch event for February 25, and the South Korean company may unveil a new Galaxy Tab at the event too.
