Samsung’s entry level and mid-range smartphones have been taking a beating off late due to better offerings from the Chinese manufacturers making inroads in almost all major global markets. But it has its brand image on its side which has sent the cash registers ringing for it despite its devices not being an epitome of value for money. Now its two devices, Galaxy Core 2 Duos and Galaxy Pocket 2 Duos have been leaked in all their glory alongside their spec sheets. Let us take a look at what the two devices will offer when they launch.
Galaxy Core 2 Duos
It will be lower end mid-range device which will be launched with the aim of helping Samsung fight the likes of Moto G and Lumia 630 slightly better.

- 1.2 GHz quad core-processor ( might be Snapdragon 400), 768MB RAM
- Android 4.4 KitKat
- 4GB of internal storage, microSD card slot
- 5MP rear camera with a LED Flash, VGA front-facing camera
- 3G (HSPA+), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and Dual SIM for connectivity

Galaxy Pocket 2 Duos
This will be an entry level device which will be launched at a price tag of sub Rs 5,000 (when launched in India).
- 3.2 inch display, 320 x 240 pixels
- 1 GHz single core processor whose make is unknown as of now
- 512MB RAM
- Android 4.4 KitKat
- 4GB of internal storage which can be expanded by another 64GB
- 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS
- 1200 mAh battery
- Black and white colour options
Seeing the fact that the press images of the two devices have leaked, the launch should be around the corner as well. And as India is emerging as one of the most important smartphone markets globally, it wouldn't be long before we get the two devices post their global launch.
