Earlier we had reported Reliance offering CDMA High Speed Data as low as Rs 5/GB on its Rs 149 CDMA pack. This was country’s cheapest high speed data pack till date and was available for its CDMA subscribers in Maharashtra circle.

Reliance has now revised Rs 149 CDMA data pack by reducing data benefit to 10GB for 30 days. Earlier the pack used to offer 30GB high speed data on EvDO Rev.A network with peak download speed of 3.1 Mbps. The pack was too good to be true so we had tested and confirmed the same in Maharashtra circle.

Reliance seems to have realized this pack may not be viable and drastically reduced data to 10GB instead of 30GB. Still the pack is one of the cheapest data packs available in the country and offer high speed data on Reliance EvDO Rev.A network.
