Exclusive: No more distinction between Local, STD and Roaming with Reliance ‘One India, One Rate’

By June 9th, 2014 AT 10:40 AM

In a first of its kind offering to Indian mobile subscribers, Reliance Mobile has taken a bold step to do away with the distinction between local, STD and Roaming. Aptly branded ‘One India, One Rate’, Reliance customers will now be paying home circle rates for outgoing calls both in home circle and roaming! The incoming calls during roaming (on RCOM network) will be completely free!

The offering is available for both prepaid and postpaid customers. Here is the tariff plan:

While One India, One Number and free roaming has been a long term dream of every Indian mobile subscriber it never materialized in the way a customer wanted. Now this move Reliance mobile, who have pioneered such offerings right from the day they entered the industry is most likely to set the ball rolling!
