However, for the customers who do not usually use data on their devices, or for the ones who do it together on multiple devices, it becomes difficult task. For such users, Reliance Jio’s JioFi comes as one of the best offerings to facilitate an internet connection on the go easily. Initially, there used to be very few choices as to which JioFi you could buy and you were mostly bogged down by the options available at the store, but now on the Jio online store, the JioFi retails in 5 different variants, and we are here to help you decide which one is the best bang for your buck.

JioFi JMR 540

When you look at the JMR 540, you will most likely remember your first JioFi router which we used to see during the initial days of Reliance Jio. The JMR 540 is the legacy JioFi device, and it offers connectivity to 10 devices at once along with USB tethering connectivity to one. This one also comes with Micro-SD Card Micro USB Port Nano SIM slot and offers a 2600mAh battery capacity. The price of this model is Rs 1,999.

JioFi M2

This is the other device on the list to have a price tag of Rs 1,999, and this one is also the first gen JioFi device. Similar to the JMR 540, this device also offers connectivity to 10 devices at once along with USB tethering connectivity to one and has Micro-SD Card Micro-USB Port Nano SIM slot. The only difference is that this one comes with a slightly lesser battery capacity of 2300mAh.

JMR1040 White

The JMR1040 is the router that you might consider buying given all the options around. Speaking of pricing, this router retails for Rs 999 and for this price tag it offers connectivity to 10 devices. The device also features a Micro-SD Card, Micro-USB Port, Nano SIM port and it uses the LTE (2300/1800/850MHz) IEEE 802.11b/g/n 2.4G only. In contrast to the other two routers mentioned above, this one also comes in two colour options to choose from – black and white. Lastly, the biggest perk of this model over the other ones is the large 3,000mAh battery. The price of this router also remains Rs 999.

JMR541 Black

This is the last router in the list, and it also comes with general specification typical to all the other abovementioned routers. The JMR541 offers connectivity with up to 31 devices over Wi-Fi and one over USB tethering. The router uses the LTE (2300/1800/850MHz) IEEE 802.11b/g/n network for connectivity, and this one also comes with 2,600mAh of battery. The price of this router is also Rs 999

Verdict

Since across all Reliance Jio Wi-Fi hotspot devices pricing is not the issue, and the Rs 999 remains the obvious option to go for, we would suggest that you go for the JMR1040 in either the black or white colour since the device is the latest one in the portfolio, and it comes with the most massive battery among all other models.
