While everyone is aware of Reliance Jio's attractive tariff plans of Rs. 309, Rs 399, and Rs. 509, the company is also offering an entry-level plan of Rs. 149 for users who don't use much data on a monthly basis.
Earlier, Reliance Jio did not offer any FUP speed, meaning when you exhaust the allotted 2GB data, you won't get any additional data like other Jio plans such as Rs. 309 or Rs. 399. Because Reliance Jio offers low-speed data of 128 Kbps even after the completion of daily data in the Rs. 309 plan.
The company is now offering after FUP speed of 64 Kbps with the Rs. 149 plan. With this speed, you can send and receive WhatsApp, but websites take a lot of time to load. However, this is a good thing for customers who recharge the Rs. 149 plan.
The operator also has another low-cost Rs. 96 plan which gives 7GB data (1GB data per day) and unlimited voice calls for 7 days. With the Rs. 149 plan, users also get 300 SMS for the validity date.
Coming back to other Jio plan, the Rs. 309 plan gives 1GB data per day and unlimited voice calls for 56 days, the Rs. 399 plan offers 1GB data per day and unlimited voice calls for 84 days, the Rs. 509 plan provides 2GB data per day and unlimited voice calls for 56 days.
Reliance Jio is currently looking to disrupt the Indian market with the affordable JioPhone. Jio is offering a Rs. 153 plan exclusively for JioPhone users that gives 500MB data per day and unlimited voice calls for 28 days. Jio is also giving access to its premium apps for free to the JioPhone users.
