Reliance Jio, India's largest telecom operator, has added the most wireline customers in November 2024. The telco was also the leading operator in adding wireless users in November 2024, according to a TRAI (Telecom Regulatory Authority of India) report. To be precise, Jio was the only telecom operator to add wireless customers, while Airtel, Vodafone Idea (Vi), and BSNL (Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited) lost users. Reliance Jio was the only operator to add both wireline and wireless customers. The numbers look a bit surprising given the fact that Airtel was already adding users in the previous months.
