Reliance becomes the first telecom operator in the country to test the concept of Aadhar authentication from a non company owned multi brand small retail outlet. Reliance Communications is ready to launch the services across all circles post the necessary guidelines issued by DOT.

Mobile customers can soon walk into any retailer in the country with their respective Aadhar card, post which the retailer can share the customer’s Aadhar profile details along with the biometric authentication details online with UIDAI server for real time authentication of the identity of the customer.

Post this authentication, the customer details can be fetched online from UIDAI server and the customer mobile connection can now be processed with Reliance Communications for immediate activation. The customer verification process is thus undertaken through Aadhar authentication.

No thanks. Aadhar is for idiots who dont drive, vote, travel abroad, pay income tax or go to the ration shop. The rest of us are fine with one less card in our wallet, thank you.

Aadhar is a biometric card, It have finger print, Iris, picture and details of other identity.
And understand this, This card have better identity than any other Card.

Don’t make foolish statements.

It is for “indians”. If you don’t like this, don’t get it.

and +1 from Dr. Ravi Kiran.. I doubt he is real one ?

Umm…… Currently only few people have aadhar. Also, getting an aadhar is really a tough task in UP.

So the traditional EC card is still good for me.
