Tencent Games’ PUBG Mobile 0.10.0 update in beta for Android and iOS is finally out and is being pushed to the users. In a Reddit post on Wednesday, Tencent Games confirmed the launch of the concerned update. However, there is a catch, while this update was thought to be some massive one, on looking at the update patch note we could not find anything special about the PUBG Mobile 0.10.0 Beta update. Although there are some minor additions to the mobile edition of the game, some of the notable things include chat options for making the teamwork easier, improved control settings, and the MK 47 Mutant gun which has been previously spotted on PUBG Xbox One and PC for some time now. Going by the speculations, we expect Tencent Games to update the patch of this new rollout just like it did for Battle Royale.
PUBG Mobile 0.10.0 Update: New Inclusions
The first and foremost noteworthy addition which comes as the part of this update is the MK47 Mutant rifle which was previously seen on Xbox One and PUBG PC. This rifle will now be available on Android and iOS too. The gun will come with multiple fire modes and a 20-bullet clip thus making it a worthy addition in the player’s arsenal. Another addition will be special help for players navigating the game in the dark, the Laser Sight Attachment. This attachment will allow the players to aim more accurately and the above mentioned MK47 will also be able to make use of it.
Further, as part of this new update players will have the option of customising the screen layout with new presets and variable options. Tencent has also added additional chat options with dozens of scripted text and voice dialogue options to make communication between teammates easier. These will be under tactics, discussion categories and movements. Lastly, the update patch notes inform about new in-game outfit and bug fixes.
PUBG Mobile 0.10.0 Release Date
Although we haven’t heard about a confirmed PUBG Mobile 0.10.0 release date from Tencent, it will be safe to say depending on the previous betas that the cycle will follow a couple of weeks before we see a stable build. We also won't be surprised to see a new inclusion in the update which will be the part of the new Resident Evil 2 partnership.
Tencent had also announced earlier in the week that it would be partnering up with Capcom for having a Resident Evil 2 collab for PUBG Mobile. This way, the Battle Royale game for Android and iOS will see an exciting addition of the horror game which will be re-released early next year.
While there are no final images to inform us more about this subject, PUBG Mobile Global Finals in Dubai point towards the direction of inclusion of Resident Evil 2 skins in PUBG Mobile at least. Another element which players might expect from this partnership are zombies in PUBG Mobile's map. Also, given that Resident Evil 2 will be released on January 25 for PS4, Xbox One, and Windows PC, it’s entirely possible that this partnership might outlive the other ones which Tencent had done with Mission Impossible and BAPE.
