Follow Us

The prepaid tariff sheet of almost all the telecom operators looks exactly the same because of the fierce competition in the industry. However, there are some prepaid plans which telcos focus most on to lure the subscribers and to stay ahead of the competition. One such plan is priced at Rs 299. All the private telcos- Bharti Airtel, Reliance Jio and Vodafone (Idea in some circles has the Rs 299 plan), are providing the Rs 299 prepaid plan, but all the three telcos are offering different benefits. While Airtel's prepaid plans ships with Amazon Prime membership, Jio's Rs 299 plan offers better data benefit. On the flip side, Vodafone is focusing on providing a long-validity plan as its Rs 299 offering comes with 70 days of validity. Let's dive in and find out which telco is offering the best Rs 299 prepaid plan in the industry right now.

Airtel Rs 299 Prepaid Plan: Benefits and Details

A few months, Bharti Airtel, the former leading telecom operator, has brought a Rs 299 prepaid plan to the customers. Under this plan, Airtel customers get 2.5GB daily data along with unlimited voice calling without any FUP limit and 100 SMSes per day for a period of 28 days. On top of that, Airtel is providing one-month of free Amazon Prime membership worth Rs 129 to the customers. So this plan is a go-to option for those who're looking for that Amazon Prime membership at no extra cost. And this is the perfect time to get an Amazon Prime subscription as we're inching towards the Amazon Great Indian Festival sale which will take place starting September 29 and Prime members will get access to the sale first ahead of others.

Reliance Jio Rs 299 Prepaid Plan: Benefits and Details

Mukesh Ambani-owned Reliance Jio is the leader in the prepaid segment for nearly two years now. The telco last revised its prepaid plans back in January 2018, and until now, we did not see any revisions from the company as it still has some of the best offerings in the industry. The Rs 299 prepaid plan from Jio ships with 3GB daily data, unlimited voice calling and 100 SMSes per day for 28 days, thus becoming the best data plan under Rs 300 right now. Also, Jio will provide complimentary access to all Jio apps like JioCinema, JioTV and so on.

Vodafone Rs 299 Prepaid Plan: Benefits and Details

Lastly, we have Vodafone with the Rs 299 plan and it's providing the long-validity plan under Rs 300 compared to other telcos. The Rs 299 prepaid offering from Vodafone comes with benefits like unlimited voice calling, 1000 SMSes and 3GB of 3G/4G data for a period of 70 days from the date of recharge. Also, users will get free access to the Vodafone Play mobile app as well.

Right now, Vodafone has this prepaid offering in limited circles only, and Idea customers may not be able to spot this recharge for their number in the circles where the company hasn't finished the network integration.

Which Telco Has the Best Rs 299 Prepaid Plan?

Well, as mentioned at the start, some of the prepaid plans from telcos offer different benefits to lure subscribers and the Rs 299 plan is one of them. In our opinion, Airtel is providing the best Rs 299 prepaid plan in the industry as it ships with Amazon Prime membership, but for those who care a lot about data benefit, then Reliance Jio's Rs 299 plan is a go-to choice. Lastly, Vodafone's Rs 299 recharge doesn't inspire confidence when it comes to benefits, but the validity of the plan is the best in the price range.
