Wireless infrastructure provider Phoenix Tower International (PTI) has entered into a Build-to-Suit (BTS) agreement with Iliad, one of the mobile network operators (MNOs) in Italy. The deal involves the construction of up to 1,900 new telecommunications sites in densely and moderately populated areas across Italy, aimed at enhancing Iliad's 4G and 5G mobile networks and expanding Phoenix's European presence.

PTI and Iliad Forge a Strategic Partnership
Under this agreement, PTI will provide Iliad with long-term access to these sites under preferred conditions, supporting Iliad's efforts to expand its mobile services to a rapidly growing customer base, PTI said.

Completion of the deal is subject to customary regulatory conditions.
