November 2009 Sees 11.08 Million New GSM Subscribers Added

TTSL Achieve 50 Million Subscriber Base, Tops Third Time in New Additions

Tata Teleservices Limited emerged as the Number One telecom operator in the country for the third consecutive month in October, in terms of new subscriber additions based on both GSM and CDMA subscriber base, adding more than 3.8 million subscribers in the month. JULY ADDS 9.89 MILLION GSM SUBSCRIBERS

Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI) has released the GSM subscriber base for July and its not surprising to see the additions but at a slower rate.
