Oppo has now slashed the price of its F9 Pro smartphone in India by Rs 2,000. The new price of the Oppo F9 Pro is Rs 19,990 and the reduced price is already effective across online and offline channels. Telecom Talk verified the price drop of Oppo F9 Pro in Hyderabad city via some offline retailers. The reason behind the price drop is the Oppo F11 Pro which is arriving on March 5, as confirmed by Oppo officially last week. The F11 Pro is already being teased by the company on social media portals and at the ongoing PUBG India 2019 series. Like the Vivo V15 Pro, the Oppo F11 Pro will also have a 48MP shooter on the back and a 32MP selfie shooter on the front. The Oppo F9 Pro was launched last year and it arrived with the MediaTek Helio P60 chipset on board. The upcoming Oppo F11 Pro will likely offer Helio P70 SoC

to the consumers.

Oppo F9 Pro Becomes Affordable in India

As of this writing, the price drop on the Oppo F9 Pro is already effective across the online channels such as Flipkart, Amazon, Paytm Mall and Tata CliQ. And Oppo has already informed its offline dealers about the price drop, so the price reduction on the F9 Pro seems to be an offline one. The new price of the Oppo F9 Pro is Rs 19,990 and it comes in two variants with the base variant offering 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, and the premium variant priced at Rs 23,990 offering 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

With the reduced price tag, the Oppo F9 Pro takes on the Nokia 7.1 and Xiaomi Poco F1 smartphones in the sub-continent. The Oppo F9 Pro comes in various colour options- Twilight Blue, Starry Purple and Sunrise Red. The Oppo R15 Pro is also available with an offer for purchase at Rs 25,990. The R15 Pro comes with Snapdragon 660 SoC, while the R17 Pro comes with the newer Snapdragon 710 chipset.

Oppo F11 Pro: What to Expect?

As noted, Oppo today confirmed that it would be launching the F11 Pro in India on March 5. The event which takes place in Mumbai city will also see the Oppo F11 making its way to India. As far as the confirmed features go, the Oppo F11 Pro will rock two cameras on the rear side with one being the new 48MP sensor. Also, the phone will come with a 32MP selfie camera including the pop-up mechanism we saw on the Vivo V15 Pro that was launched recently.
