During the launch event of the Oppo F7 in March, the company announced the three cricketers as its brand ambassadors. The Cricket Limited Edition Oppo F7 ships with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, same as the standard variant of the Oppo F7 that costs Rs 21,990. This is a clever move from Oppo as the three cricketers are performing exceptionally well in the ongoing IPL 2018 tournament. Also, they're the faces of their respective cricket teams. "In India, cricket is not considered a sport but a religion. The eternal love for cricket in India is undying. Keeping these things in mind, we have always come up with new and exciting editions to fulfil the needs of our consumers. With the F7 Cricket Limited Edition, we hope that this phone will resonate more with the audiences and flaunting a device with the signature of our sports brand ambassadors would be an honour for our customers," Will Yang, Brand Director, Oppo India said in a statement.

Besides the new change, Oppo did not make any changes to the internals of the Oppo F7. The device flaunts a 6.23-inch Full HD+ display with a resolution of 1080 x 2280 pixels and a notch on top. The phone is powered by the MediaTek Helio P60 SoC, clubbed with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The device boots Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box with ColorOS 5.0 on top.

This dual-SIM smartphone also has a dedicated microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 256GB. The F7 rocks a single 16MP camera at the back with f/1.8 aperture and a 25MP selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture. It offers all the major connectivity options such as 4G LTE, VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and a USB OTG. The chipset has support for dual 4G functionality, but Oppo did not enable it for some unknown reasons. The phone is fuelled by a 3400mAh battery.
