OnePlus Open 2 Likely to Feature a 6000mAh Battery

BBK-owned Vivo and Oppo are working on a new foldable that will feature a battery of up to 6000mAh and will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC. This will be a major leap in the battery technology for OnePlus and the consumers as this would extend the usage time of the device by quite a bit.

The OnePlus Ace 3 Pro which launched recently has a 6100mAh battery, and the same is expected to come with the OnePlus 13 too.




However, at this point, it is the OnePlus Open 2, the next foldable from OnePlus, that is expected to feature a large battery. There are rumours that the OnePlus Open 2 will be rebranded Oppo Find N5.

According to a tip from the Digital Chat Station, BBK-owned Vivo and Oppo are working on a new foldable that will feature a battery of up to 6000mAh and will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC. This will be a major leap in the battery technology for OnePlus and the consumers as this would extend the usage time of the device by quite a bit.

The OnePlus Open introduced last year carries a 4,805mAh battery with support for 67W charging. The OnePlus Open 2 is not expected to launch anytime soon, and will likely make it to the market only in the next year.

Currently, you can get the OnePlus Open in India for Rs 1,39,999 in India. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC and has a 7.82-inch 2K AMOLED inner display and a 6.31-inch 2K AMOLED cover screen. The OnePlus Open also comes with a Hasselblad-branded triple-rear camera setup.
