OnePlus has pushed a new update to its Gallery application which now allows the users to edit their videos using many tools which the company has provided. Notably, the latest flagship device by the company, the OnePlus 6 came with a lot of features up its sleeve. However, the older users of OnePlus who had devices like OnePlus 3T, OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T were left out because these features where nowhere to be seen on the older phones. A highlighting trick on the OnePlus 6 was the built-in video editing feature in the gallery itself. Now with this latest update, OnePlus has availed the function for all of its phone.
The Chinese manufacturer has pushed the update to its Google Play Store app which is available for all OnePlus users. The version of the app has now jumped to v2.6.71, and now it sports slow-mo, background music, video trimming and filters option. Users who have updated their gallery app on the OnePlus phones will see a pencil icon on their gallery interface. Tapping on this will give them the option of adding filters. A music icon will let them add background music to the video from the options provided. They will also be able to trim the video using this feature.
The update which was first spotted by Android Police has been known to be available even for OnePlus 3 users. The video editing feature of the OnePlus 6 is one of the most favourite ones of the users since it eliminates the need for a third-party application for basic video editing tasks. Now it remains to be seen what more features of the OnePlus 6 we will get to see in the older OnePlus phones in the coming weeks.
