Leaked First Render of OnePlus 7T Reveals Round Camera Setup

OnePlus 7T and possibly the OnePlus 7T Pro are the next smartphones from OnePlus, rumoured to release as soon as next month. Some rumours are pointing out that the OnePlus 7T series will be released on September 26 alongside the OnePlus TV in India. OnePlus has been teasing the OnePlus TV for a while now, but the company has stayed silent on the OnePlus 7T series. But that doesn't mean the phones are not coming. A new render of an upcoming OnePlus smartphone was leaked by Max J. (@Samsung_News_) on Twitter and it could possibly be the OnePlus 7T. The render reveals that the forthcoming OnePlus 7T will have a round camera setup, similar to the Lumia 1020 from 2012. There will be a OnePlus logo as well on the backside sitting below the round camera module. Even EvLeaks, another popular tipster, even posted an image which suggested the same design for the upcoming OnePlus smartphone.

OnePlus 7T Render Leaked: What it Reveals?

To recall, popular tipster Ishan Agarwal posted an image of an unknown OnePlus smartphone back in December 2018 with the same round camera setup on the rear side. However, that OnePlus smartphone never made its way into the market, and everyone expected it to be the company's 5G phone, but that was not the case too. Nevertheless, it now seems like the OnePlus smartphone leaked back in the last month of 2018 was indeed the upcoming OnePlus 7T, at least going by this new leaked render, or maybe the company went onto the safer side and kept the design of the OnePlus 7 similar to the OnePlus 6T.

That said, besides the round rear camera module, the curved edges and the black/grey coloured glass back is pretty much identical to the OnePlus 7 itself. There's no fingerprint scanner on the rear side, so we can expect the in-display biometric sensor itself like the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 6T.

The new render has the camera module blurred entirely making it impossible to reveal the number of camera sensors present on the back. But as seen with the OnePlus 7 Pro, we may see triple camera setup even on the OnePlus 7T this time around.

OnePlus 7T and 7T Pro: What to Expect?

OnePlus smartphones are traditionally flagships and that would be the case this time as well. The OnePlus 7T and OnePlus 7T Pro may come powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus to offer better gaming performance than the standard Snapdragon 855 SoC we get on the OnePlus 7 and 7 Pro smartphones. They may offer up to 12GB of RAM and it's rumoured that the OnePlus 7T Pro might pack a 120Hz refresh rate display, something which will be loved by every user out there. The OnePlus 7 Pro already has the best display on any smartphone in the market right now and we're excited to see what's in the store with the OnePlus 7T Pro.

As we saw in the renders, the design of the upcoming OnePlus 7T series will be identical to the OnePlus 7 series, except for the round camera module on the back.
