With the global launch of the event already over on Monday in New York, the OnePlus event in India started at 8:30 PM at night on Tuesday. In the event, OnePlus unveiled the new OnePlus 6T in its full glory for its Indian buyers along with the pricing of the phone. In the launch, it was pretty clear that the leaks, rumours and speculations had left little to the reveal. Confirming all the previous reports we got to see that the OnePlus 6T did give up on the headphone jack and instead only debuted with the USB Type C on the bottom edge. Further, the in-display fingerprint sensor also made its way to the OnePlus 6T. Another significant change on the OnePlus 6T is in terms of design, where we get to see the curved teardrop styled notch.

OnePlus 6T: Specifications and Features

The OnePlus 6T is a dual-SIM (Nano) device running the OxygenOS-based on the latest Android 9.0 Pie out-of-the-box. Under the hood, the phone is run by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC, paired with 6GB or 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM.

For storage, the buyers will get to choose from either 128GB or 256GB of inbuilt storage which will not be expandable by a microSD card. The connectivity options on the phone include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802ac (dual-band, 2.4GHz and 5GHz), NFC, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, and a USB Type-C (v2.0) port. The phone also comes with fast charge support (5V, 4A) and it has been claimed to deliver a day’s worth of power in just half an hour. The dimensions of the phone measure 157.5x74.8x8.2mm, and it weighs 185 grams
