Mere days to go before the official launch of the OnePlus 6, Amazon Germany has published the high-res renders of the smartphone along with its price. Though Amazon promptly pulled down the product page, German website WinFuture was able to capture all the details including OnePlus’ official photos. The photos show the handset dominated by bezel-less display complete with a notch on the front and a glass back on the rear. The renders also confirm the dual rear camera aligned vertically along with a LED flash, and there’s a fingerprint scanner beneath it.
As for the specs, the OnePlus 6 will come equipped with a 6.28-inch Optic AMOLED display with QHD resolution of 1080 x 2280 pixels and 19:9 screen aspect ratio. Inside, there’s Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 chipset paired with 6GB of RAM and either 64 GB or 128 GB of storage. There’s an 8GB RAM model also in the pipeline that will come with 256GB of internal capacity.
The rear of the OnePlus 6 includes dual rear camera system compromising of a primary 20MP sensor and secondary 16MP sensor. The camera will come with optical image stabilisation, a portrait mode, and slow-motion capture, too. OnePlus recently claimed that OnePlus 6 camera would rival those of Samsung Galaxy S9, Apple iPhone X and Google Pixel 2.
The listing confirms Gorilla glass protection on the front along with water resistance, though it doesn’t reveal whether the OnePlus 6 will deliver IP67 or IP68 certification. Amazon doesn’t list battery capacity, but there’s OnePlus’ Dash Charge technology for rapid charging. As per an earlier regulatory filing, the OnePlus 6 will come with a 3300mAh battery unit.
Amazon Germany listed the OnePlus 6 will available in Midnight Black and Mirror Black variants. There’s no sign of the white version of the phone, which the CEO himself showed to select audience. It is possible the white finish for the OnePlus 6 will follow on at a later date.
According to the listing, the 64GB OnePlus 6 will start at €519 (approx. Rs 41,500) while the 128GB storage model will go up to €569 (approx. Rs 45,500). The sales at least in Germany will live on May 22 according to the retailer, exactly a week after the company’s official announcement.
The alleged leak doesn’t leave anything to imagination ahead of OnePlus 6’ official debut on May 16 in London. We can expect to hear more information when the smartphone is officially unveiled.
