Looks like OnePlus does not want to leave a single stone unturned for ensuring that its upcoming flagship becomes an overnight success. The company has published a blog, titled as “Ahead of its time: 2016 Flagship Killer.” In the post, the company boasts that OnePlus 2 “was not created to compete with the flagships from 2015,” which means that it has taken a rather futuristic appeal and is made to rival the top notch smartphones in the market and even the ones debuting next year.
The company also revealed in the post that its in-house developed Oxygen OS will bring Android M features on the OnePlus 2. The device in question is dubbed to come with 4GB of RAM, a fingerprint scanner, USB Type-C, and Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor.
OnePlus also claimed that the custom ROM will initially be based on the Android 5.0 Lollipop build at the time of launch. This post has increased our expectations even more and we hope that the OnePlus 2 proves to be worthy of the amount of hype it is hogging. The company is going to unveil it on the July 27th.
