Nothing OS 3.0 is now rolling out for the Nothing Phone 2, Nothing Phone 2a, and Nothing Phone 2a Plus. The company has confirmed the rollout of the update in a post on Thursday. Nothing OS 3.0 is the latest Android operating system (OS) from Nothing based on Google's Android 15. It brings some of the powerful and useful AI (artificial intelligence) features such as Circle to Search, and more. Circle to Search Comes to Nothing Phones
The new age smartphone company, Nothing announced that the Nothing Phone 2a, Nothing Phone 2a Plus, and Nothing Phone 2 are getting support for Circle to Search with the latest update. Circle to Search is a Google powered AI tool for looking up things on the screen of the phone on the go. It has already been present on several devices for more than a year now.

This is the first time Nothing is enabling support for this software feature on its smartphones. Also, this is the first that Nothing is releasing around Android 15 (stable) for its phones. Note that the Nothing Phone 2a Plus users still aren't getting the stable update, they can download the beta version of the Nothing OS 3.0 Open Beta 1. The build number of the update is as follows for the different devices:
1) Nothing Phone 2: Pong-V3.0-241207-0124
2) Phone 2a: Pacman-V3.0-241210-2057
3) Phone 2a Plus: PacmanPro-V3.0-241126-1448 (Beta build)
The circle to Search feature gets activated by long-pressing on the home button or the navigation bar of the device. Nothing is expected to bring the Nothing Phone 3 in near future in 2025.
